Sarah Roney

Sarah Goldstein Roney has loved the church ever since a friend invited her in middle school. Since then, she has always cherished the church community, and now she is excited to join the team here at City of Light!

Sarah has a degree in Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute, and an M.A. in Intercultural Studies from Wheaton College. She and her husband worked overseas when they were first married, before settling down with the goal of adopting. In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading, writing, working out with women from FiA, and serving as the district leader for Replanted–a support group ministry for adoptive and foster parents. 

Scott and Sarah live in Wheaton, where they can typically be found cheering someone on at a sports event, celebrating a birthday or adoption day, sharing a meal with their friends, or going on an adventure in our beautiful state.
