The Bible tells us to "share one another's burdens" and to help each other "cast all our cares on Jesus, for he cares for us."

When we're struggling, we want to help one another as we give and receive and help one another receive directly from the Lord who is our healer. Here are some ways we pray and care for one another.

Disciple-making Groups — Our groups provide a community of prayer and care as we follow Jesus together. Find out about our groups here.

Prayer Appointments — Praying together for a need is one beautiful way we experience the grace of God’s forgiveness and the healing presence of Jesus. We offer prayer every Sunday morning during our 10am Gathering at Hill (link). We also offer monthly Sunday afternoon prayer appointments with two prayer team members. RSVP here.

Communion for the Sick — If you are unable to gather on Sundays to receive communion for a season, we would love to bring the communion of the church to you. Email Casey@cityoflightanglican.org for more information.

Meals — Making meals for one another in difficult seasons, during illness, or when welcoming a new child into our home is a beautiful and tangible way to give and receive care. Contact Grace@cityoflightanglican.org to request meals or volunteer to serve.

Financial Assistance — We set aside some of our giving for those in our congregation who may need it to meet unexpected financial needs or provide counseling resources. Contact Casey@cityoflightanglican.org for the financial assistance application.

Prayer Team—Praying for brothers and sisters on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. Click here to see a prayer team job description and fill out a prayer team application here. Interested in receiving prayer outside of Sunday mornings? Click here to sign up for a prayer appointment.
